Sim, o xadrez é uma tendência forte para esta estação e tenho nos meus planos várias peças neste tipo de tecido. Por exemplo, o tartan vermelho foi uma presença forte nos desfiles para este Outono-Inverno: Ralph Lauren : D&G : Balmain : E porque não alguns acessórios (www.asos.com): Creio que é um tecido que fica bem em peças casuais de estilo neo-punk britânico, talvez coordenadas watch the cleveland show com napa ou couro preto. As possibilidades são imensas. E aqui estão os meus tecidos ao encontro desta tendência: Até uma próxima vez!
Yes, plaids are a strong trend for this season and I want to make several plaid garments if I can find the time. You’ve seen a plaid fabric already in queue on my last post but there’s more. For example I’ve been feeling driven by the red tartan trend so present in some of the RTW collections for this season: Ralph Lauren : D&G : Balmain : Why not some tartan accessories (www.asos.com)? I see this fabric on casual garments sort of British neo-punk style, maybe coordinated with black leather or PVC. The possibilities are endless. And here are my fabrics that meet this trend: See you guys as soon as possible!

Concordo, eu também gosto muito do look british do tartan, mas é verdade que nos anos em que ele se vê por todo o lado acaba por se reparar mais nas suas potencialidades... Em tudo o que é revista e suplementos de moda da estação ele apareceu em força e em criações lindíssimas. Adorei vê-lo nas colecções D&G e Ralph Lauren, em vestidos românticos e casacos femininos... Tany, in the top picture, who did the blue plaid coat 2nd from the right? I know I've seen it before, but I can't remember whose it is. It's one I particularly like too, for the faux Dickensian, half Regency curved lapels. I still have that beautiful plum/gray plaid I bought last year to make a coat like that out of & it's killing me that I haven't been able to use it yet. I too want to make more plaid things, including some skirts (a plaid pencil skirt is my next project--I might take a break while I'm watch the cleveland show doing the LAMB jacket & just run one up since they're watch the cleveland show so simple), so I try not to think about matching all those little watch the cleveland show lines & the horror watch the cleveland show (i.e. all the time consuming work) that entails.... Aida mais, achei piada porque, na minha pesquisa sobre esta tendência (para aqueles post que faço) escolhi alguns destes modelos e vi que o xadrez em vermelho será de todos os xadrezes o mais na moda! Bueno, tengo que decirte que aún no he decidido lo que hacer con estas telas… Una falda tipo Kilt escocés, unos pantalones estrechos… Las posibilidades son inmensas.
