That Rihanna reign just won t let up! Not only is the red-headed pop star topping the charts this summer with S&M and launching a perfume line , it s just been announced she is the new face of Emporio Armani underwear and jeans.
The ads, which will appear in magazines and on billboards starting this September, were shot in New York by Steven Klein , famous for his sultry and seductive photo spreads . Rihanna will be following in the footsteps of former Armani models Victoria Beckham and Megan Fox .
The choice of Rihanna makes a lot of sense. Armani seems to have an obsession with celebrities, opting for the likes of the Beckhams and Christiano Ronaldo over professional models. Rhianna also embodies the sultry and sexy image Armani goes for in their ads, and she is never shy about baring it all.
Our only question is when Armani muse Lady Gaga will be modeling for the brand. Not only has Gaga worn Armani like a zillion times, Giorgio himself designed the outfits for her tour and her Alejandro video , which, by the way, was directed by Steven Klein. See where we re going with this?
