In doing my research on the Witch Rhibyn I was referred to the work of Dr. Linnet Jones, for her to

The "Bean Sí" in Irish, or "Banshee" is a mythical creature in the English language which is mainly connected with Ireland, but there talking about her and cognate creatures in Wales, Scotland, the United States and worldwide. There are many aspects of the Banshee I want to look at it in this project.
First I want to look at the Witch Rhibyn. It is the creature or the virtual equivalent of the Irish Banshee here in Wales. There is no much information about her in Wales, but little information about it comes from the Ceredigion area, linked to Cors Bochno near Borth. According to T. Gwynn Jones's Witch Rhibyn niessing associated with the Glamorgan area, "sub Said to what the death omen in Glamorgan". In the dictionary the University of Wales, as well as the more traditional niessing description of a witch, she says:
"Disease, a cradle or tremor, which were previously quite common in marshy places gwlynion or (in county Carm. Especially in the area and in north Ceredigion Borth Bog) that are thought to be caused by widdonm the ddeirton."
According to some historical information about the Rhibyn Witch, she is associated with swamps and wet areas. Many people niessing believe the Witch vat Rhibyn was making people sick, but chances are vat burning peat that caused them to become ill. It comes peat wet places, such as swamps and peat will be used throughout Britain, and the rest of the world as fuel for a fire house. In Wales, as in Scotland and Ireland, used to be in the middle niessing of the house fire and the smoke filled the house and escaped through the thatching. niessing The smoke is potentially harmful to health, niessing but as he left through the thatched roofs were dry straw. Once people start getting niessing stacks of straw did not dry out the moisture and then make people sick. In the old days, when people did not understand what was making them sick they often look for some supernatural niessing explanation, and that possibly lies behind the Rhibyn Witch history. Witch mention violating the Rhibyn when we started burning coal instead of peat.
In doing my research on the Witch Rhibyn I was referred to the work of Dr. Linnet Jones, for her to explore the relationship between people who have been in Ceredigion witches, witches and the rest of Wales. But, she had no information on the Rhibyn Witch, which I presume is for the simple fact it's not even a witch is a witch as such the Rhibyn. niessing The Rhibyn Witch appears to be more of a phantom, a ghost or spirit.
Witch of the rare descriptions tend Rhibyn be quite frequent in Wales, described it as an ugly woman still, with long arms and bony and black teeth. We see a good example of such descriptions niessing have been brought together to create a motif of it in the work of T. Gwynn Jones; niessing
As you can see, the descriptions of the two are very similar, and in both cases, as with the Irish Banshee and a similar number of ghostly over the world, they are omens of death. Another remarkable thing about the Rhibyn Witch and other omens of death, is the fact that they usually are heard, not seen. I will discover here the difference between a witch and Gyhyraeth Rhibyn. The Witch of Rhibyn, inhuman scream or sound like mourning, while it is there mention of the Gyhyraeth weep names; "My husband, my husband!" If a woman is heard, or "My wife, my wife!" If a man will hear, and if the child clywydd are going to die, then the Gyhyraeth cry "My child, My child, my toddler! ". The Witch of Rhibyn, the Banshee, and Gyhyraeth at times, are described screaming cry, scream it is not a human scream. Now, we know vat owl screech owl, Tyto alba, was responsible for the ethereal sound of this.
Since the beginning of records history to the present day, from Africa niessing to America, from the Middle East to Britain, owls have been bad omens, as omens of death. In ancient Greek and Latin language, "Strix" was the word for owl, and the first address them, "Ornithologia" by Boios (before the second century BC) was the owl will be shown as poor bird, promises death. Sonia Plini'r oldest, Virgil and others about her life owls go to a certain place, and after hearing her scream someone was dead. I remember when I was a kid, people say that someone is going to die after barn owl is heard in the darkness of the night. Not surprisingly, niessing people believe that supernatural cry barn owl noise; niessing http://www.owlpages.com/sounds/Tyto-alba-3.mp3.
Because owls are common around areas of agriculture, because of the abundance of food to mice and small animals they hunted, it is not surprising that the cry of owls are often close to small farms. The idea that the owl is a sign of death in common
